Automatic tipping bucket measurement of collected rainwater; pulse signal output based on rainfall increments; real-time recording of cumulative rainfall and rainfall start/end times; compatible with data acquisition terminals for pulse signal reading; horizontal adjustment and calibration of the base; debris filtration to prevent blockages in the water flow path.
No built-in expansion modules; compatible with data acquisition RTUs, outdoor cabling and concrete base fixing accessories, which can be procured separately.
The F-YL100 is a standard tipping-bucket rain gauge, utilising a magnetic reed switch pulse output mechanism. It is factory-assembled with an integrated internal assembly and comes with a standardised outdoor mounting bracket. It accurately records rainfall volume, duration and intensity, whilst simplifying installation and commissioning procedures. The unit is stable and durable, significantly reducing the workload associated with on-site construction and periodic cleaning and maintenance at field rainfall monitoring stations.
All internal components are factory pre-installed for efficient deployment without on-site disassembly. The streamlined 3D tipping bucket and flow guide tip minimize residual water, while the factory-calibrated magnet and reed switch ensure stable pulse output without missed counts. A standard 200 mm large-bore inlet with a built-in filter prevents debris blockage, and the base features a spirit level with adjustable support feet for rapid, accurate leveling. Designed for harsh outdoor environments, it offers two resolution specifications for both high-precision research and routine monitoring. The simple structure is easy to dismantle, requiring only periodic wiping of the collector and bucket to maintain measurement accuracy.

A Check the following in order: signal line break, reed switch failure, misalignment of the magnet, foreign object jamming the tipping bucket, or blockage of the rain collection funnel. Corresponding actions include repairing the wiring, replacing components, adjusting the magnet position, and clearing debris.
A This is usually caused by a misalignment of the tipping bucket’s pivot point or an incorrect coupling distance between the magnet and reed switch. The error can be corrected by re-titrating and calibrating the tipping bucket’s pivot point and fine-tuning the distance between the magnet and the reed switch.
A Water ingress has caused a short circuit in the equipment’s connection socket. This can be resolved by disassembling the unit, clearing any accumulated water, and resealing it to prevent water ingress.
